The Compassion To Help You Through A Difficult Time

Protecting Your Interests In A Michigan Divorce

Divorce is always difficult, both financially and emotionally. The outcome of your case can affect your finances and your relationship with your children for years to come. Now is a time when experienced legal counsel can help you resolve the legal issues in a civil manner, while protecting your interests.

I am Jeanne M. Frazee, a family law attorney in Livonia, Michigan. Having practiced family law for more than 30 years, I understand what is at stake in a divorce, a child custody dispute or other family law matters. As your lawyer, I will pay attention to the details of your case so you won’t have to live with a costly mistake.

Guiding You Through The Legal Process

At every stage of the legal process, I will give you the information you need to make good decisions. Rather than telling you what you may want to hear, I’ll tell you what you need to hear. My advice is based on more than 30 years of family law experience. My goal is to remove the unpredictability of issues such as divorce, alimony, child custody, child support and marital property division. By going into your case fully informed, you can set realistic goals based on Michigan law and how area judges have ruled in cases like yours.

Whenever possible, I use techniques such as mediation and negotiation to obtain a reasonable settlement outside of court.  If the other side is unreasonable, however, I have the trial skills to protect your rights in court.
